Financial Benefits:

The GEM Fellowship Program 2022-23 in the USA is a complete free scholarship program for graduate students studying at a leading university in the United States. Details of the costs covered are given below:

For Masters Degree:

Employer Fellows:

Subsistence allowance $ 4,000 per semester to 4 semesters ($ 8,000 per academic year – 3rd quarter).
A total grant of at least $ 16,000 for the entire master’s program.
Up to two paid summer internships with a member of the GEM employer.
Full tuition and fees are provided by a GEM University member.
GEM Member University will provide a financing agreement for the approval of the GEM Fellowship in accordance with the proposed division of the GEM Employer Partnership.

University Fellows

  • Full tuition and fees are provided by GEM Member University

Associate Fellows

  • Full tuition and fees are provided by GEM Member University
  • A minimum of $ 8,000 scholarship is awarded each year by a GEM member university.

For Ph.D. Degree:

Employer Fellows:

The $ 16,000 scholarship is valid for one academic year.
Additional Scholarships (Assistant Scholarships, Grants, Other Dollar Scholarships) Support to bring scholarships. from GEM Member University to the level of funding for other funded Ph.D. students in the field.
At least one paid summer internship with a GEM member employer.
Full lessons and fees for the fifth year of the Ph.D. program.

Associate Fellows

  • Full tuition and fees are provided by GEM Member University
  • The GEM Member University offers a minimum scholarship of $ 16,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria for GEM Fellowship Program:

General qualifications:

Under-representation:

Candidates who are members of the following under-represented scientific and engineering groups may participate, as noted by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics:

  • American Indian / Native
  • African American / Black
  • Spanish American / Latin

Citizenship:

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents at the time of application.

GRE:

Applicants are strongly encouraged to qualify for the various GEM member university programs. Applicants will be asked to provide test dates and/or GRE scores, if available.

For Masters Degree:

At the time of application, the senior or graduate must be in an accredited engineering or computer program.
Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8 / 4.0.
He must agree to a two-year contract with GEM Employer sponsorship, which begins in the summer after the sponsorship.

For Ph.D. Degree:

At the time of application, he must be a senior, master’s student, or graduate of an accredited engineering or applied science program.
Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 / 4.0.
He must agree to the GEM Employer Internship Agreement immediately after sponsorship during the summer.
