The Australian Government Research Scholarship 2022-23 is a fully-funded scholarship for international students in Australia. Australian scholars in 2023 will cover the following costs.

Scholarship: An annual subsistence allowance of AUD 28,854 (excluding tax, the amount for 2022) for a maximum of 2 years for a master’s degree in research and up to 3 years for a doctoral study in research.
Complete teaching for masters up to 2 years and for Ph.D. Title up to 4 years.
Health funds (paid sick leave). Overseas student health coverage
Travel allowance ($ 1,000 for travel from their country to/from Adelaide.
Submission of the dissertation (eg editing, printing, binding) costs doctoral students $ 840. AUD $ 420 for candidates for a master’s degree in research.

Scholarship Duration:

  • Master’s Program: Up to 2 Years
  • Ph.D. Program: Up to 4 Years.
